Hello! My name is Quinn, and my pronouns are they/them. Sometime during the summer I was at a Juneteenth celebration and there were a BUNCH of booths, and I was looking at one for a cat shelter. The person there was really trying to get me to volunteer there. When I looked into it I was not super interested but I realized that I did want to volunteer for something. I found TEENTALK online and remembered that my mom had told me about it before. That’s how I found TEENTALK! I wanted to volunteer here because I want to contribute to my community and some way, and I am good with having empathy and talking to people. I can relate to being queer, disabled, and an awkward teen. I like things like dnd, art, math, science, nature, reading, and video games. Can’t wait to talk to you!

Fun fact: I am a huge nerd, especially when it comes to biology, art and trying new and weird things. I want to be a doctor when I grow up and advocate for youth. I prefer they/them pronouns. I know a lot about depression, anxiety, autism and mental health. I really admire people who go through tough times because I think we become stronger for our experiences. I’m excited to meet you!

Hello! I'm David and I use he/him pronouns. I enjoy playing video games, spending time with friends, starting garden projects I never finish, woodworking, cooking and watching movies. I joined TeenTalk because I love talking with new people and listening to what others have to say! I look forward to talking with you and hearing what you have to say!

Yo, my name is Eric and I am a volunteer at TeenTalk! I have been in and out of therapy for most of my life up until 2018, but felt that sometimes it just wasn't the right way to go about things. TeenTalk introduced me to a whole new way of asking for advice, talking about things that may be hard to talk about in person, or even just needing to vent to someone. Wanting to get into the psychiatry field of work, I saw TeenTalk as both a great way to get some practice, as well as a way to help those with things I needed help with. Most of the time you can find me watching anime, playing video games, or at the gym. I hope to hear from you! - Eric

Hi, I’m Jen and I’m a volunteer at TeenTalk. I joined TeenTalk because I want to try out being an emergency dispatcher part time. I heard about TeenTalk at school and it seemed like a good opportunity to take my first baby step in that direction. I have experience with depression, anxiety/social phobia, OCD, autism, ADHD, PTSD, and divorce. I do a lot of volunteer work with teens and young adults who have different IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities). I also have a puppy who I love with all my heart. I’m excited to meet and get to talk with you!
