confidentiality AGREEMENT
    I understand that in order for the Clark County TeenTalk program to run successfully as an anonymous and confidential resource for youth to contact, I must not provide any of my personal information to someone who contacts the TeenTalk line. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    • My real name
    • My age
    • My contact information
    • Names of anyone in my life
    • Where I go to school
    • Where I go to church
    • Where I work
    • Any community affiliations I may have
    • Any social media and/or other Internet accounts I may have
    • The location of the TeenTalk office
    • Anything else that may reasonably lead someone who contacts TeenTalk to find out my identity and/or contact me outside of TeenTalk

    I also understand that in order for the Clark County TeenTalk program to run successfully as an anonymous and confidential resource for youth to contact, I must not ask anyone who contacts TeenTalk for their personal information, unless it is to help find them resources and/or to assist TeenTalk staff in making a mandatory report. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    • What their name is
    • Their age
    • Their contact information
    • Names of anyone in their life
    • Where they go to school
    • Where they go to church
    • Where they work
    • Any community affiliations they may have
    • Any social media and/or other Internet accounts they may have
    • Anything else that may reasonably lead me and/or anyone else to finding out their identity and/or contact them outside of TeenTalk

    I understand that I cannot have communication or contact of any kind whatsoever with people who contact TeenTalk outside of the TeenTalk office during my shifts. If I have pre-existing knowledge of, friendship with, or relationship with anyone who contacts TeenTalk, I will disclose this to TeenTalk staff.

    I also understand that my association with TeenTalk itself should be kept confidential as well as any thing that happens inside or outside the TeenTalk office during my shift and/or TeenTalk activities.

    I understand that I cannot divulge to anyone at any time anything that is communicated in the TeenTalk office. I may discuss conversations with TeenTalk staff, but not with other volunteers or members of the public.

    I understand that if someone discloses information which falls under Washington State mandatory reporting laws that the information will be shared by TeenTalk staff with the appropriate authorities but will not be shared by myself unless I am directed to do so.

    I acknowledge that if I were to break this confidentiality agreement, I would be subject to review by the Clark County TeenTalk coordinator and/or supervisor(s).

Volunteering from home AGREEMENT
    The following are expectations of TeenTalk volunteers and staff while we cannot be physically together.
    • Volunteers will still be able to be part of TeenTalk for shifts. We ask that volunteers choose shifts keeping in mind the importance of keeping their conversations confidential. This might mean working shifts with doors closed, volunteering from a garage, vehicle, etc. If a volunteer is uncertain about whether or not they can ensure confidentiality – staff expects that they will have a conversation about the issue and any concerns.
    • Volunteers will be able to virtually conduct conversations via text, email, and phone. Staff asks that volunteers maintain the same level of professionalism in these virtual conversations that they would have had in the office.
    • If a conversation falls under Washington State mandatory reporting laws, staff will make these reports. Staff may review conversations with volunteers to ensure that there is clarity in reporting.

Internet, ​​Laptop, Computer, and Cell Phone Use Agreement
    I understand that when using Clark County TeenTalk Internet, laptop(s), computer(s), and/or cell phone(s), I must:
    • Keep food and/or beverage(s) more than one arm’s length away from the electronic device(s).
    • Show TeenTalk staff any message(s) I compose prior to sending the message(s).
    • Ask TeenTalk staff permission before visiting a website that is not used for conducting regular TeenTalk business.
    • Ask TeenTalk staff permission to download any app(s) and/or other software that is not currently on the electronic device(s).
    • Only use the cell phone(s) for TeenTalk business.
    • Ask TeenTalk permission to use the laptop(s) or computer(s) for any purpose that is not related to conducting regular TeenTalk business or for doing schoolwork.
    • Not click on any link(s) that are sent to us.
    • Not look at the walls, stories, and/or any other personal posts of those who message TeenTalk.
