A volunteer service club for youth ages 7-18 on the autism spectrum to volunteer with families and peers. Typically meets monthly, September to June, on the second Sunday from 2-4 pm with optional service projects on different dates in the community. Schedule subject to change.

The world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Sports include basketball, bowling, cycling, figure skating, flag football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis and more. Newcomers are welcome.
SpiritHorse Therapeutic Center of SW Washington

Provides free one-on-one lessons to low-income children with mental and physical disabilities through 12 weeks of one-hour horse-riding lessons. The program places a strong focus on building independence, and clients assist, to the best of their ability, in all areas of preparation and horse-care: leading, grooming, putting on and removing equipment before and after their ride. This develops a sense of self-sufficiency and accomplishment, and also builds sequencing and speech skills.

For youth, ages 11–19, who are on the autism spectrum and their siblings and peer mentors. Meets the third Saturday of most months from 6-9 pm. Book Club meets during Social Club from 6:30-7:30 pm. Costs $10 per family; please bring a snack to share.

Offers programs specifically for those with mental or physical disabilities, including social nights and dances, fitness and water exercise classes, cooking and crafts and day trips around town. Things to know: (1) families may use their respite money to pay for classes, (2) prior notice is needed if a participant displays challenging behaviors/ has a behavior plan, (3) participants must register for activities within their age category, and (4) families must complete a Participant Information Form through ePACT.
