An exciting mix of sports, art activities, homework help, tutoring, or go to surf the Web, play video games, watch movies, or just chill out with friends.

Membership fees for middle schoolers: $30 per school year. $80 per summer. Reduced Summer fee ($30) available for households who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch at school.
 
Membership fees for high schoolers: $10 per school year. $10 per summer.
 
Some scholarships for membership fees available. After paying membership, you can drop-in anytime during business hours,.

Teen After-School Open Gym: Ages 11-18. Open 3-5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Teen After-School Fitness: Ages 11-18 may use the indoor walking track. Ages 13-18 may use the Fitness Center equipment. Open 2:30-5 pm, Monday to Friday.

Game Room: Ping pong, foosball and pool tables. Open during business hours.

​Current Teen Program ID or Firstenburg Pass required. Opportunity Pass will work for students in Evergreen and Vancouver school districts. Scan in at the front desk first, and then check in with gym staff.

Along with checking out books and movies, many libraries have teen centers where you can hang out with friends and play video games. They also offer workshops for getting a job, learning 3D design and more, and provide opportunities for you to practice your Spanish, crafting skills and more.

Helps young people grow into responsible, contributing citizens. To reach this goal, 4-H has developed educational materials that emphasize development of life skills in young people through fun, hands-on projects. The Explorer Program is designed to give students ages 15½ to 21 an opportunity to observe the criminal justice system and assist them in making an informed career decision. Explorers provide non-enforcement assistance to the Sheriff's Office and serve their community through a wide variety of functions.
 

Volunteer opportunities

Clark County STASHA (Strong Teens Against Substance Hazards and Abuse)
STASHA is a nonjudgmental group made up of youth ages 12-19 working to prevent substance abuse among their peers and within their community using their own words and in their own way. Applications are typically open from mid-May to mid-June.
Clark County TeenTalk
Provide nonjudgmental support to other teens on the phone and over the Internet. Must be 15-19, have transportation and able to volunteer for a three-hour shift each week.
Clark County Youth Commission
The Youth Commission provides youth voice to the work of Clark County Councilors, county departments and community organizations by addressing issues important to youth. The Youth Commission also hosts an annual award ceremony each year honoring 300 youth countywide. Applications are typically open from mid-May to mid-June.
Prevent Coalition
A substance abuse prevention coalition working for a healthy, thriving and drug-free Clark County. Website includes several resources for youth.
Southwest Washington Humane Society
Opportunities available at the Adoption Center-Shelter and ReTails Thrift Store. Open to youth, 14-17. Space limited to 30 participants each four-month service term: spring (March to June), summer (July to October) and winter (November to February). Teens must commit to a minimum of six hours per month for a four-month service term.
